Dr Oro is so awsome!

I just can't thank you all enough for suggesting Dr. Oro. I finally got to meet with him this morning and even though he did not recommend surgery right now. I am satisfied with what we discussed. This is what I found out.
- I do not have a true Chiari because I am about 4mm.but have no blockage.
- I have Occipital Neuralgia and we discussed this in detail and will be getting a occipital nerve block here in a few weeks by someone locally. Anyone have this procedure done before and if so how did it go?
- I have EDS Hypermobility however I suspected it before I ever went but now it is confirmed.
- We talked alot about my Lupus and RA and how it is all tied in with everything.
- I have a Pseudotumor Cerebri- Talked about loosing weight.
-Eyes good
-Veins and Arteries good

I am so glad that I do not need surgery and that I can maintain things and perhaps get things under control.

Caveman diet...so I think I already do this, like nothing processed? All fresh and natural...or as much as possible.  The gluten thing has me confused. I have heard some controversy over not everyone should be on it because of the added... something that I cant seem to remember atm . Only people with gluten issues? EDS makes sense, but what about non gluten/EDS people?

Jiggle he suggests gluten free and paleo diet with exercise.  I have EDS and pseudo tumor too so we had the same talk lol.  He said really humans were not meant o eat gluten and it has been shown that it is bad for connective tissue and increases pressure in head.  Paleo is eating like a caveman...fruits, veggies, nuts, lean meats basically only eating things in the form God made them.  Congratulations Nick on getting some answers!
