ETV (endoscopic third ventriculostomy) experience?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here has had an ETV following decompression surgery for Chiari. I currently have an obstructed csf flow and the recommended course of action is the surgery. I'd love to get as much info as possible, general experience, recovery, effectiveness. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

  Hi....I know we have had a few people develop hydrocephalus after decompression...some have had shunts placed and a few even found out the reason for the build up of CSF was due to the dura patch placed.

I will try the search this community to find any old threads you could read on this topic.....not sure if any current members have had this procedure done.
