I know what u mean...I feel so guilty....but I also know what happens when I try to do more.....there doesn't seem to be a middle ground....since I have TC issues the walking sounds great, but it can be too much for me.
Same here..I could probably only do a 10 minute walk before regretting it but I noticed that water exercises was recommended which I am thinking of trying. It really ***** because I really love running and I don't know if I will ever be able to do it again....
No worries...the MODS here will block out words they feel r inappropriate...I inset what I think u meant....lol...so I got the jist : )
I even tried a stair stepper and I was still having my scar open and ooze...I was told by a nurse at my NS office I was doing too much...I only did 2 mins of casual stepping....so I did stop...I plan to try again soon as it will be some time b4 I can get back in a pool.
Yeah, I am little worried to try anything b/c I don't want to suffer from it. Yesterday, I did a lot more around the house and my neck was killing after and the pain went all the way down my spine and into my lower back. I can start PT in a week or so and I am hoping they can help... I still don't feel like my whole problem has been figured out yet but I keep waiting b/c that's what eveyone tells me I should do (my family). Sometimes you feel like it's a viciouos circle that is never going to end!! Sorry I know that that is really pessimistic, I guess I got up on the wrong side of the bed today!
No u didn't it is the way reality looks like to those of us going thru this...but we do have to push past those thoughts and get to the side where we know there is a dr out there that can help us figure it all out.,......and of course this forum of people that do understand : )
I have pretty much got myself ready to confront my PCP about the way I was treated and see if we can get past it so that I feel like I have someone there to advocate for me.. There are very few openings for new DR's here so I am kind of stuck...
