Face Pain?

I woke up with a terrible headache.. but it's the first time my face actually hurts. The right side of my face feels like I have a lot of pressure behind it. It kind of feels like I've been hit. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced it?

P.s. i just came back from my traumatologo...he is really so good.i entered crying with face pain.and he told me there are 2things i cant stand women crying and children mistreated.oh what a man.he didnt doubt put me on the bed and pinched my muscle.wooow.within 5min all my symptoms improved and the pain.in my case i have problens with madtoides and its called myofacial pain.he explained me and showed me how this pain is spreading and why...oh ge made my day...one of the best doctors i ever had ;))

Me and i still have it.i had several diagnoses for that...and the ns tell me its coming from my cervicals...which is somehow true as pain originates from c2.and then it hits in my left ear and the face from ear to eye.sometimes i feel as if somebody has beaten me up all night on the side.the most horrible pain definetly.

  U have to keep in mind chiari affects ur spinal cord which is ur control center for everything, how u feel, physically and emotionally...

Ah :(. Was my first time having that happen. Kinda freaked me out for a while. Mostly my jaw has it now.

  Hi, yes, this is very common for those of us with Chiari.

I would get it in  just my jaw or down the side of my face it would be different....
