First appointment with neurosurgeon and I'm so confused!!!

so I had my first appointment today with a neurosurgeon that specializes in chiari in WI and I'm so confused! I asked him a ton of questions. I asked him about a CSF flow study, a possible MRI of the spine and he brushed me off! he said some doctors like to do the CSF flow study but it's not something that he does. he ordered simply an MRI of the brain with and without contrast and one that follows a
chiari protocol. he said the CT scan doesn't show him much of anything. he wasn't the easiest person to talk to and I was just left very stressed out and confused. are there any risks for having an MRI of your brain with or without contrast?

Not all "chiari" specialists are of the same caliber...and y u want to see a couple and compare them, there are a few that have not helped many of us...so do ask others who might have gone what experience they had.
