Getting better, but new sensation

Hi guys just updating again. I went and saw my neurosurgeon on December the 6th. He says I'm progressing good. I'm cleared to drive as I feel safe and will be heading back to work on January 3rd. I am feeling better. I have been hand spinning on my wheel a bit and taking it easy.

I have had a new symptom and want to see if anyone had this postop. I sometimes feel like I am floating and my head is disconnected from the rest of my body. My body also feels strange when it happens. I don't really know how to describe it. I also get a tightness in between my eyebrows when it happens. What does everyone think? I am afraid of another surgery or recurrence.
I also wanted to say thank you. This website has helped me so much and to be an advocate for my care.

I would suggest talking to your Dr.....it typically is what we are doing that causes the symptoms post op....

Are you still on any meds? I had a lot of muscle spasms post op and I took valium when needed to help with it....

BTW- what is hand spinning?

I'm on muscle relaxers, anti depression meds and topamax. I guess you can say I was hoping to get better and not feel worse.
I raise goats and turn their wool into yarn using my spinning wheels. I do this for living history reenactments. Hand spinning was something I got into after I had been knitting for a while. I wanted to make my own yarn. Haha like knitting for a 28 year old isn't strange enough!

I would just be sitting and watching a movie. Or walking to the mailbox to get mail. It is very sporadic when it happens. I also just woke up this morning with such tight muscles on my left side that it feels like a charley horse all over.

May I ask what you are doing prior to this new symptom?
