I just returned from the NP with a possible case of Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

I just watched "under our skin", a documentary on Lyme's disease. I bring it up because it's considered a political disease, as much as CM or CFS.  Doctors who have treated chronic Lyme's patients have lost their licenses and/or been driven into bankruptcy;others have quit before their lives were ruined.

The narrator said that most lawsuits against doctors are brought by insurance companies!

It was bound to happen at some point--they are right in my yard--but I have had the most bizarre several months even w/o Chiari surgery!

Btw, it's like having the flu, except no congestion.  They treat it right away now, don't wait for test results.

  ick....they creep me out and I was an avid camper and hiker, ....my DD's MIL has lymes from a bite....so we r always checking the dog for them....only found a few, but she gets her monthly dose of tick prevention....

I was not aware ticks were biting already...scary....

  OMG...how  did u get that?....Praying it is a mistake, and or they can treat it and u get rid of it quickly....goodness....I also pray this is the last for a long time.  ((hugs))
