Nope, don't like Indometicin. It can cause way too many side effects (liver problems, stomach ulcers, severe headaches, dizziness/vertigo - like any of us need help with those last couple! - plus lots of others. It can also adversely effect psychiatric disorders.
It's a pain killer, but it's not really any better than a couple of aspirin or one Aleve.
If you are considered to have long term or chronic pain, I'd suggest you discuss a Neurological Pain Blocker with your Doctors.
I am currently on this med that you mentioned, I take it three times a day 25 mg's, my nuerologist perscribed it with what I thought was to help deal with the pain from headaches or cluster headaches as he said it can be called.
It does a fair job, my pain management doctor said that he does not like it all.
He said that he is not a fan of it at all, I am curently going with acupunture once every three weeks and it was really working untill I had an accident on the last sautrday in April. (Long Story) car did not stop until she hit us doing an estimated 45 we were sitting still.
Now I have lots of aches and pains - the forward movment of my body was good untill the seatbelt said - n it is time to go back now. Both the seats in the van collapsed to the passenger seat in the back.
But, it is kinda helping the pain, I have a mri on tuesday afternoon; a memory test; and a EMG on my shoulder scheduled for the next couple of weeks. I jsut thank god that the person who hit us has insurance with USAA.
Sorry , I never heard of it...I didn't look it up either.
The claims seem out of line....I wonder what Shane knows...I hope he comments on this,

I think it's just a glorified Aleve. It's an anti-inflamitory non-steroidal. I'm not on it now. I just wanted to know if anyone had heard of it or used it. It looks likes it's used a lot for arthritis.
I never heard of it or the implications of it's use.
I would suggest using the MedHelp info on meds...do u know how to use it??
If u need help let me know.
