Another suggestion for your daughter's as well as your own comfort would be to elevate your legs while sitting (in a recliner or in a regular chair with a bench or stool). I know Selma mentioned the body pillow, which seems to be a great help in keeping good sleep position. Something I have always found nice is to have a smaller pillow to put between my knees. I hope you can find something to help you and your daughter (who is very blessed to have a loving mother like you).
No worries....glad you found something that can help.
thank you Selma. You answered my comfort questions. After reading the do's and don'ts I have a better understanding in the tlc, rest, non-stressful, lifestyle that is desperately needed . thank you for everyone and their time that is given to help others.
I hope to give back and pay it forward the gratitude I have for this site.
Hi Cindy....
My DD got me a homedics pillow, lumbar pillow I should say and it is wonderful I took it to the hospital with me and I just love it...
Everyone is different as to what pillow they like....and what works, but to help relax I like a warm soak in the tub, dimmed lights (candles) and my fav music....getting as relaxed as possible will help.
Some also have body pillows to lean on and to keep from rolling....I used a blanket rolled up and used in the same manor....
Are you referring to for sleeping, sitting, riding in the car?
There are similar in trying to keep comfy...and pillows worked for each, I always have a pillow behind my back....and in a car, sitting in the front passenger seat, I recline it just enuff so with a big fluffy pillow I am still sitting upright...this helps keep my head from bobbing all over...
I hope these help
