Ok everyone so I am kinda looking for a job. Not really sure if I will even be able to do this but I need to try. Currently on unemployment and have no insurance. My question for everyone is I was let go from last job because my STD was denied and FMLA ran out. How do I answer questions about what happened at last job? And also questions regarding how this will affect current job? I am not sure how to answer this when asked. To let you guys know I currently have daily headaches, numbness in mouth, sometimes in hands and arms. Dizziness

  I would suggest looking into the clinical trials, u can get treatment with the best of care....we do have a thread with a link to the trials info...use the search this community feature to help u locate the thread ...ask if u r having a problem finding it.

Not been able to have another MRI without the steroids to see what shows up. I was told not surgical candidate needed to be treated medically. Topamax and Fioricet have helped some, but NL I was seeing does not want me on Fioricet. ( that is what NS had given me).  My last job fired me because they did not give me a chance to come back and I was waiting for STD to be approved and did not realize FMLA was running at same time. ( my fault) I would have tried to go back to work

No have not had surgery. I went to see a pediatric NS who sees Chiari patients every week so he understands it. My problem is mine is only 2-3 mm on MRI of Brain then when I had MRI of spine I was on steroid treatment and showing nI symptoms and it showed nothing on MRI. Unfortunately this was at end of year then ins ran out so I have n

U do not have to say y u left u last job....if it was a medical reason, there is HIPPA that protects u....

If u were awarded unemployment then ur employer had no right to let u go....otherwise u would not have gotten it....

I do not understand y ur STD was denied...but I have no idea why my LTD was either....

Just read on ur profile that u were termed bcuz u could not return to work bcuz of how u feel....so that brings us back to ur statement of not knowing how u r going to do this...

Have u been to a Chiari specialist?
