What are some of the symptoms of CM?

So I'm in the process of getting a MRI to see if I have CM. My doctor was skeptical when I said I thought I had it because I've had a MRI before and they never said anything about it, but he scheduled it anyway. He thinks because I get headaches in other parts of my head that I don't have it, even though when looking at a list of common symptoms I have a lot of them. When I was researching CM, it just kind of clicked with everything I've been going through. Even though I'd still hate to have this, I still kinda hope it is then I don't have to keep looking to see what I could potentially have.

How did your MRI go? Did you get copies of it and the report?

Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.

It is hard to list ALL the symptoms that many of us have had.....but we do have an older thread with what we titled Unofficial Chiari symptoms because even many of the true Chiari specialists will recognize all  the symptoms we list.
I will bump it up for you to read.

For me, I did get headaches in other areas then just at the back of my head...but if I coughed, laughed, or had a BM it was always at the back of my head ...this is what is referred to as a Chiari headache....I would also get what felt like a vise that was squeezing my temples.....and  occasional stabbing pains on top of my head in the middle....and the last place was behind my eyes.

Again to list symptoms you also have to know what other related conditions you have as they can affect what symptoms you do have....and that is why I don't like to post my symptoms....yours may be different,
