May I ask what the result of the MRV were that the Dr feels surgery is best at this time?
I know your son does not appear to have symptoms, but for those with Chiari symptoms we do not realize that we have symptoms since we have always had this condition and consider how we feel to be "normal" as it is our normal....so even tho your child is high functioning with this condition you need to look to how it is impacting his overall health too.
We do have a list of Drs for TX...BUT we do not suggest any are true Chiari specialists and we do not refer nor endorse any listed Drs...the list is here for you to use to research the Drs....this list was compiled by the members here of Drs they have been to, treated by and liked.
