Thank u so much for this info as I know a member that this may help : )
It's a alternative recommended by my kinesiologist when I went to p/u some natural supplements today. I I had an appt b4 that w/the NS re my pseudo. he said it could take up to 6 months for leak to resolve but it was a good sign that it was soft & had not grown in the last 3 weeks. neither ns nor I want a shunt inserted. I I asked him about diamox, since I have seen it has helped some on this site. He said a lot of people could not tolerate it but I could give it a try & wrote a prescription. I stopped to pick up probiotics on way home @ the kinesiologist & he said he thinks the low level laser could help and I actually had it right then for 15 minutes. it is a totally noninvasive laser that shines on affected area to rebuild cells.. Since it is alternative rx, there is not a "measurement" ' chart like regular medicines or therapies. here is a statement, since I cannot tell you in my own words :-),
"within the injured musculoskeletal tissue low level laser light initiates increased microcirculation & inhanced tissue regeneration. The overall effects are decreased pain & inflammation & increased range of motion "
You can google Erchonia to find out more.
