Yes! I hate when ribs pop out! I have one that pops out on the far left side just under my breast. Those are awful as well. Normally it is my right hip that I have been having problems with
Thanks as always for being the best listener ever :)
U can rant neday of the week....lol... and I know what u mean, have u ever had a rib pop?...ouch....and it is hard to get it to go back....
I have issues with my hips and shoulders popping and going back, but it is my ribs that hurt the most, I can turn and pop, or yawn, and pop....
Just letting u know u r not alone <3
I know it is not Monday but I needed to rant :)
I just feel like every time one part of my body starts to feel better another gets bad! GRRRRRR!!!!! I hate EDS. I always pop joints out, but i can normally get them back in. Yesterday I popped one of the bones in my right wrist out, but I couldn't get it back in for TWO hours!!!! Needless to say I am very sore today and have to wear a splint for a couple of weeks. Last time it was my ankle and that took forever to heal!
I never realized how much EDS effects your entire body until i researched it more! Wow it explains so much!!!!
Thank you for letting me rant!

U will learn as u will have no choice.....it seems that many Drs are like that .....and it takes time to get them to understand, then we have to face family and friends.....so take a deep breath and remember to exhale : )
Very true. My rant was not toward all doctors, just those who you try to educate on how you feel and why....and it gets disregarded. After 42 years, I still need to learn patience.
Well the thing is Chiari is not really covered in Med School...as it was not something they knew much about, and u can see many still do not.
Chiari was always found after someone passed during a post mortem.
MRI was not available to the general public as it was the late 70's when they started using it to DX cancers....and it was not until the late 80's early 90's it was used for more wider DX issues.....but bcuz of the costs were not done as often as they do them now.
So chiari is in it's infancy,....and we need to help get awareness out there.
I know it is frustrating....but it is easier to deal with once we know it is not pure ignorance but the fact it is relatively new condition and so may feel it is a natural process for the tonsils to herniate...they do not realize that it does affect us the way it does...and so we have to be grateful for all the Drs that do understand and try and help us bcuz they do so with the ridicule of most of their peers....
We all feel the need to scream....but if u have Chiari that hurts....
