Aquired chiari .?

Hi all !

Finally I remember all what happened, it was almost one and a half years ago when I was grabbed into a head lock by a guy, and I resisted in a wrong way. That day I felt the worst pain ever between my shoulders, but didn't care much about it, weeks later all my symptoms started.

Now I have a cervical herniated disc protruding towards the spinal cord, straightening of the cervical spine, and benign tonsillar ectopia < 1mm when lying down, im quite sure the herniation will be more when standing up.

Now more than a year later I am in deep pain in my neck between my shoulders, traps, very stiff neck and daily headackes, my hands and feet suddenly feel cold or warm, ears clicking and ringing (right ear more than the left due to the way my head was grabbed).

So here is how it goes for me, I can't find a chiari specialist in my country, I am having physical therapy to my neck which helps with the pain although I know it could affect my ectopia!

I prefer taking the headackes and the pain as much as possible, until one day I collapse and cant move, or develop a syrinx which thankfully I dont have.

Sometimes I feel like drunk when I am awake, and as if my perception is very slow, like I am in a movie, very bad feeling. Feeling about to sleep while driving although I am 22, which indicated I migh have sleeping apnea.

So the worst symptom is the ringing in my ears and when they feel pressured the worst feeling ever :/

I even noticed that I hear or feel something in the roof of my mouth or deep inside moving as if it is comming from the back of my head, when I lie down on my side, it is really hard to explain but I think it is the sound of my tonsills moving, I best describe it as the sound of a cockroach crawling, am I weird and exaggerating , or does this really happen?

Yes and when my ears feel retracted, they retract BOTH at the same time, and the same when they are pressured, I mean one can't retracted while the other is not, with the exception that the right ear is way worse than the left, does that indicate abnormal csf flow ?

Do you think my ear problem is related to chiari or my neck problem and could it be fixed if I fix my neck ?

I need help for my three questions,
Thank you! :D

The sound or sensation could be CSF fluid that is obstructed that is having difficulty in flowing normally....we have had people describe it like bubbles....
Not sure what you mean by your ear feels retracted?
Your ear issues could be Chiari related. There is no way we could know if your ear issue could be resolved by having your neck fixed....only a Dr once they do full testing on you could give you some info on the percent of benefits of any surgery may have in general.
