THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS <3
I am home, feeling good, and looking forward to living life pain-free.
I was in the hospital for 4 days, then took 2-3 solid days of bed rest at home.
Dr. Jobe said he drained alot of fluid from my neck/head that was being blocked -- but said I did great in surgery. He used plastic surgery glue instead of stitches/staples. So the incision doesn't look as rough as I had originally throught it may!
The second day in the hospital - I opened my eyes and everything was CLEAR. Like an HD-TV version of life. My mom said the 'red' in my eyes were gone. :)
I had a few headaches after surgery but they weren't the normal back-of-the-head unbearable ones, instead, they were more like 'tension headaches' in the eyes.. almost from probably trying to do too much. After some IBU profen- they subsided.
Fatigue has NOT been an issue (like before). I have been waking up without alarms at 6-7am and going to bed at 10pm. Before, I NEEDED naps.
I'm only at day 8 of my recovery and am looking forward to seeing my body come full circle. I had sooo many people praying and thinking of me. I'm truly blessed <3
Sending best wishes and prayers for a safe surgery and a pain free, full & quick recovery.
