Quadriplegia

Hi
I have been injured in my neck 3 yrs ago, and now a quadriplegic C4/C5 patient. my last MRI shows Syinx, CSF blockage in the C5 level which I dont know it would be harmful for me in future or not, also I do not know whether it is the cause for stoping the improvement of my hand and legs movemnet, so I have not gained any sense or motor in my hands and still have some problem in breathing. i want to know if the surgery and extraction of csf would be effective in improvment of my spine?
Thanks

Hi..and welcome to the Chiari/Syringomyelia forum.

I also do not know enuff about ur condition and not being a Dr or a medical professional would not like to venture a guess.....I do know a little about a syrinx and that can cause many issues on top of what u r already dealing with.

Can u get copies of ur MRI's and the reports and send them to a chiari /Syringomyelia specialist to see if they can offer u some guidance?
