Radiofrequency Neurotomy/Ablation

Hi. I have Idiopathic Syringomyelia that encompasses my spinal cord. I have syringes that start at C3 and exist all the way to my lower lumbar area. Not fun, to say the least. I have had many steroid shots for nerve pain that don't help and now pain dr is saying Radiofrequency Ablation/Neurotomy to cauterizes nerve endings. I was wondering if anyone on this site has had this procedure and did it help? I really do not want anymore shots because the pain from them isn't worth the pay off. I would appreciate any info.. Thanks

I did it today.  The pain at the moment is unbearable.  I thing the spinal cord is angry.  They tell me it will get better but if you decide to do it, make sure you have help afterwards.
