Safe Range of Motion?

Recently diagnosed, cervical MRI next week to see further what's going on before meeting with NS.

Sometimes with the headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain etc, I feel like I want to do neck rotations, neck bends from side to side (ear to shoulder) or turn my head from side to side to stretch/ loosen the muscles that feel stiff. Before diagnosis, I probably would have done all  of the above without a second thought. Now that I know I have to be more careful, I need to know which directions are safe to do "range of motion" type exercises on your neck.

Thanks

So as long as it doesn't hurt more I'm good? My neck crunches when I move it, always has, but so does half of the rest of my body lol I'm TRYING to listen to my body, but right now, I think we still speak different languages.

(Bet your glad my question was short and easy this time :)

U may want to move and as long as u r not doing the motion too fast or beyond what u feel comfortable that should be ok...my ROM increased post op...I always was limited as to how far I could go....

Listen to ur body and go slow.
