I live in Oregon to and have found only one doctor recommended in Oregon. I know nothing of him personally. Just that he is at Emmanual Hospital in Portland. I can't remember his name because today is a very bad day for me..... I live in Salem.
Hello and welcome! There is a list of specialists here in the forum that other members have used and liked. That is a place to start. It is always a good idea to ask that question... how many of these surgeries have you done? There are only a handful of NS's that devote their practice to this disease and I personally have decided that is where I want to be. My surgery is to be in a few weeks. There is a big difference between the ones that devote to CM and the ones that see CM occasionally. Be aware that most of us do have to travel. Dont let distance be the only factor in your decisions for treatment. There are organizations that can help with travel should you need assistance.
Welcome to our family. I hope you find the answers and support here that you need.
