All I'll say about the stress is it doesn't tell you what not to do. All Strong medicine eps are about real life women, but they do change things from the true story. The fictional governor real life equalivant might be still govering the county if she governed anything at all. Example Family Practice had the patient survive when in reality the baby died and the second baby also had it.
I haven't watched it yet, but don't forget it's fiction.
I grew up during the ColdWar, with radioactive mutant ants, spiders, & Godzilla, so not much scares me.
OK, I am leary to watch this, I havent had surgery yet...but I really want to watch it! I see you talking about stress, and I am a HUGE stress/anxiety/worrywort type person, and big time about the surgery. Should I watch this to help me see what I should NOT be doing?!?!?!
Mazie :)
I love it when the governor says "next time dance a little"
I think the episode is also a warning about stress. The women was over stressed pre-surgery and although stress isn't the cause it wasn't helping her symptoms. To bad it's stressful waiting for surgery.
that is pretty scary but sometimes not having an answer is the most scary.
Thanks. I just wish I was already there for treatment. I can't stand the wait anymore.
I keep you in my prayer for your upcoming surgery.
Sorry about the title. I got it wrong. "It takes a clinic" is the correct title of this ep.
There's two parts to the episode on youtube. I gave you part 1. Part 2 is sad. Wish I didn't see it before my surgery. 6 days till the trip to Maryland. 12 days till surgery.
I put this on my list of things to watch, even if it is scary. Sometimes scary makes me forget about me.
I wached it. It's scary, but thanks for the link.
oops I forgot the ending of the story. If you haven't had your surgery yet, you might want to wait till post op to see the second half of the episode. All I remembered was the ending to the death row inmate; otherwise, I would have told you sooner.
