I got accepted into the clinical trial and better yet since the appointments don't start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.

Congrats! What type of clinical trial is it? I have heard you mention it, jsut never in detail.

It's the spingomyelia natural history. 5 Year study. It includes surgical and non surgical treatment. They pay for everything including the surgery the 10 day inpatient treatment and all the mris they can do. Transport and lodging is included. Dr. Heiss is the surgeon.

So happy to hear the good news.  When does the trial start.  I might need more info and try to get my DD into this.  She has the same symptoms as I did when mine started and she has no insurance to get test taken.  So happy for you.

I posted the information somewhere. It's the NIH program. New patient appointments don't start till june. I asked if she can make mine later than my last day of class.

I think I'm celebrating more that I'm going to still be in school next week. I already caught cabin fever and it hasn't even been a week since school ended.
