I got an email from the new york tci they are taking me on. Dr. Bolognese is going to see me. :) Anyone see him? They said I'll get a call from them within two days to make the appointment. I still don't know how I'm getting there or were I'm lodging though. I can't even afford the trip by amtrak

U r sooo fortunate to see him.i think seeing him or dr.oro is sth i would hope to be able to do. I am happy for u seeing a real specialist...congrats from my side too

Dr. B is the BEST.  I am a patient of his awaiting surgery in June.  He is thorough, down-to-earth, and will take the time to answer every question you have.  I suggest writing down your questions from now until your appt. because the appt seems to go so very fast.  Also, if you can, take someone with you to take notes.  Congrats!!

Actually my quick check the amtrak was cheaper than the plane. Longer but cheaper. I can't stand the bus. I look like a ghost when I get off the greyhound.

  Look at the Health Pages one titled Links...there is a few non profits that will fly u free if u qualify...and ask at TCI about Variety House it is also mentioned on the Links page but it is close by TCI and the Hospital there and it is reduced  rates....but u set it up thru TCI.

He is one of  the best from what I have heard. I know that it will be difficult, but flights and buses are actually cheaper than the amtracks now. Good Luck on your journey
