burning srnsation

I get a burning sensation in my thumb and other finger it feels like I picked up a hot pan and burnt my finger and then it goes away. And l let me tell driving home tonite from the sister in laws was an adventure in the dark. The wife said she would drive but being a stubborn man I drove. Man did pay for it with a stiff neck and it took me a little time to get out of the car because I could not stand up because I  was dizzy. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Yeah the bad thing is the company  l work for requires us to wear hardhats which gives me a sore neck from the extra weight and sometimes just wearing a baseball cap gives me a headache. I haven't  felt too bad the last couple of days, just wondering  when its gonna hit me again. I go back tomorrow so we will see.

  YUP....lol...and it would bother me to put ne hair accessory in it too...I am sure u did not have that to contend with...but it is quite annoying....the heavier my hair was the more it bothered me...and I have thick hair...

Well a syrinx can be located in the thoracic, and lumbar as well as the cervical spine....many Drs only look to the cervical for them.....

I have stenosis and some bulging disks too....it is always something.....

No i have not had any tests  for  syrnix yet. I had a spine mri and it was not mentioned. They found a bunch of other problems like Stenosis and heniated  disks. My next mri is December 31 and that is the one that is 3 hours long. It seems so far away. Have you ever had the problem where you scalp hurts just from touching  your hair. This happens to me occasionally.

  HI Mike....driving can be difficult for us, and especially when we want to continue doing things we r use to doing....but we always end up paying for it in the end...so not worth it....

The burning sounds like u may have a syrinx...have u had that ruled out....sorry I can not remember....but it seems those with a syrinx have more issues with temp sensations in the extremities.
