foramen magnum too large at birth

Hi all,
New here. A few years back I was referred to a Neurologist for migraine. The resulting CT Scan showed that I have Chiari Malformation (Type 2). I wasn’t worried about it and dismissed it because the CT showed that my foramen magnum is naturally too large. The CM started causing me problems after a UTI and an Iron Defiency. Just found out there is a name for the foramen magnum being too large; Cerebellar Slump. I need to confirm with my doctor. I have never had surgery so I can’t say the Slump is because of a botched surgery. Can anyone relate? Trying to deal with all that comes with the symptoms I have for the past 6 months.

Thanks.  Do you mean the unsual sysmptoms thread. I answered there just now.

Yes this is new. I don’t know if surgery could even correct it by putting more bone in.
No I meant in any older thread....I will do some research to see if anyone has posted on this topic before....there are none that I can remember, but I too have Chiari so that is not a reliable source....lol....
