Çhiari & syringomyelia specialists in Ohio

Anyone have any references for neurologists in Ohio that have experience dealing with Chiari / syringomyelia?

I also live in Ohio but have decided to go to Pittsburgh for my surgery I am seeing a Dr. Friedlander that I found on the International Chiari web site.  I do have a second opinion scheduled at the Cleveland Clinic with Dr Benzel on Wednesday however I was quite frustrated with the hoops I had to jump through to get the appointment with him.  I really like Dr Friedlander and his staff he is at UPMC

I see Dr. Recinos at the Cleveland Clinic. She is a neurosurgeon and deals a lot with Chiari. You can look her up on the Cleveland Clinic website.I wish you the best!

  We do not say go to this Dr....but we do have a list of Drs members have been to and liked...so, it is a way of saying this Dr is a good one with out naming names on the forum....

We also want u to research a few Drs to see which Dr u feel is right for u....

Example....I went to a Dr that many were saying was just awful....personality wise...but I did not have an issue with him, in fact I enjoyed my time with him...he was just a NL...but he did what I needed and like I said he did not rub me the wrong way....but, u may not like him...this is why we do not refer we share who we saw, and who we liked thru our list and encourage u to research a few to find the right Dr for u...

I do understand your statement "we do not refer ". My question was meant as in one friend asking another if they have a healthcare provider that he / she would recommend.
