You are right, it did subside...that was a very scary month!!
coughing sneezing laughing, anything that puts pressure in your head. they will subside
Glad u r getting that MRI, it will put ur mind at ease knowing one way or the other about that part of the spine.
And I am glad ur Dr showed a more compassionate side this time.
Good luck with the MRI and keep us posted.
Thanks everyone! Saw my GP today with a mask on my face -- was there to mention aches in arms and legs once again. I had a coughing attach in his office and he had to run out and get me water. He seemed to have a little more compassion today, and he is sending me to another neuro in t.o. for a second opinion and I am getting the MRI of thoracic that I thought I needed. Yay! I pray that the inflamation goes away and the headaches along with it!!
It can all depend on u and how it is affecting u and where u r in ur chiari journey....it can be a temp flare...or it may have triggered the obstruction to worsen....many times with a virus like that it is inflammation that causes the flare once it goes down, the flare calms down as well....
Coughing,straining,bending...everything can trigger chiari ha.for me i have chronic ha still after surgery...and it gets more intense by light,sound,laughing,talking...and other things.i think for everybody its different...i hope for u this will not be a permanent issue
Coughing often makes it worse. (just like straining, sneezing, laughing). I hope you feel better as your virus leaves:)
