Ask dr for A-P diameter of cervical canal (congenital cervical stenosis) to be put into the report. Get copies of all MRIs CTs.

Well it is possible to have pain from other issues like EDS, RA....as well as pain from chiari or a syrinx, so additional testing is a good idea as is seeing a NL  as they will do more testing to see what else u may have going on.

  I am glad u had 3 good days...praying u have a few more : )

well went to the DR... James malisi. he seemed nice. It wasnt a very long visit. He said I dont have to have brain surgery but wants a mri of the neck... witch i tried to have done when at the last one but any way he wants me to have it at the hospital there and an apt right after. I think thats cool ... its on june 7th.he said if i dont need surgery after looking at the next mri then he is referring. me to a neurologist since he is a n/s to manage further care .. i need that so i am not just talking to my pcp...so at least i am getting that done. I have felt good almost great for three days YEAH!!! only my left arm from my elbow down is hurting.. especially  if i reach for something or stretch out my arm???

do you know how many of us work? I am so starting thing think I shouldnt have to work. I dont even know how I am going to feel until I get up every day,

I am starting to think that its okay to have a dirty house because I am tired. tired of picking up after him... i do good to kinda clean up after myself.. working 48 hours a week and that is to much i think... its not that I dont like my job i really do...I am just so tired.

My DH went to my dr visits too and he did get an education...he understands more then me sometimes...I want to do something and he says no...lol...he knows it will only affect me later and knows in order for me to not be in pain is only do things in moderation.

  Good luck

HI...sorry I never heard of him, but I am sure there r many chiari drs out there I do not know, all u can do is go and see how much or little he does know and go from there.....

This is y we have our own list of drs...there r soooooooo many listed on many sites as NS's and brain specialists, but, that does not make them a specialist in chiari....and y we say research and go with the one u feel most comfortable...some may do just chiari and related surgeries awhile others may do all types of brain surgery, but keep up with new techniques and treatments for chiari.

Let us know what u think of him
