I was told since I was having drop attacks b4 my surgery I could not drive...I also have depth perception issues and I still do not drive, but I have put off this surgery too....so I am not sure if they would change that status...as I was told to turn ur head certain ways to see when backing up etc may cause me to go out, .....I have a bulging disk as well in an area of stinosis...

Keep me posted on what u do and how it all goes, and I would like to post a prayer thread for u once u have ur surgery date.,...list it on the surgery date thread.

ya according to dr b i need to get it sooner than later because im starting to loose feeling in my fingers and shoulders and legs and some of that may be permanent or atleast that is what i gathered from the visit and i have many pass out or black outs constantly at this point just praying i can go back to work and support my family after its all over with scary thought in itself

Wow that sounds interesting....I know the loss of ROM is the one thing holding me back as I had little b4 surgery and just got it...lol....so, I am going to wait as long as I can...but not sure how much longer I can go, as I had vertigo yesterday the first since my decompression 4 yrs ago this month...

Thanks for the info and please keep us updated....I went to TCI and had Dr Insinga....Dr B was in the OR and did the dopplar mapping for mine.

i guess instead of having the plate that goes up the back of your skull they use studs in your spine and grow bone through some sort of doctor voodoo magic less invasive than the original yet still gonna loose 20% of the function in my neck with mine they have to cut the back side of my first disc in order to get to the tonsils to remove them and straighten the nub that sticks up on the second disk because it is also putting pressure on my brain seeing that it tips the wrong way thats pretty much as much as i know just saw dr b for the first time last friday but he wants me to get the surgery soon
