props to me ER doc

for over a month now my blood pressure has been ridiculously high.  like 169/104   I have never had high blood pressure and usually run under the norm..  I kept trying to tell all my docs that the increase was from being in so much pain for so long.   They of course assumed the pain was from the increased BP.  why listen to a stupid nurse they are brilliant specialists.    anyways.   after taking the meds for two days that the er doc gave me I checked my bp and is down to what it usually runs 118/78   YAY    head ache still there but minor compared.  I have actually gotten two nights sleep 7 hours each night with no interruptions.   I was able to clean up my house adn I was able to go with my kids last night.

this doc was absolutely amazing.

she did know some about chiari and had picked my meds based on that and I told her that ai am not drug seeking I asked for non narcotics if there were any she thought would work.   She said she never thought I was she could only imagine how painful this has to be.

anyways I know I have mentioned this before  but I am just so greatful to her for what she has done for me.

Angela

her name is Dr. Prince and she is the ER express doc at Union Hospital.

if you are ever in mid eastern ohio and need a doc it would be worth going there for her.  (not the greatest bed side manner but she knows what she is talking about and is usually really busy)

I totally understand your BP problem. I always used to say I was never going to die and I am going to live forever in pain because my BP was so low. But the pase year my BP has been extremely high and I also have attributed my high BP to pain.

I am so happy to hear the Er Doc has done so much for you. I must be wonderful to get some sleep for a change. I hope it continues.

Meg :)
