My son struggles with certain foods, and his Occupational Therapist says this is often due to sensory problems.
He's almost three, and he won't eat most meat unless it's fish sticks, chicken nuggets, spaghetti meat sauce, or hamburgers.
You might look into it.
He was in O.T. because he was a little behind (he was born premature).
i have the same problem but with my 1 year old daughter ,,, she throughs the food out of her mouth and insists not to eat till she gets what she wants which is almost sugary food,, my main problem is that she refuses almost all healthy food,,eggs, veggiesm chicken and so on, she sometimes only live on my breast milk ,, any help plz .
Be sure you do not defer to the tantrum. Your responsibility is to serve the food. Do not engage in a struggle about whether or not she eats the food. Mother Nature will take care of the rest.
