During this time I noticed he mived different much slower then other kids his age. Allmost like he was unaware of were his body was in relation to the world around him. I spoke to peditrican and we had OT eval set up. We did 6 weeks of MNSI motor neuro sensory intergration he did well made large improvement. Now in first grade hes having issues again so I am back at MNSI its extreamly difficult to find a MNSI PT. MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
If he is progressing well academically you needn't do anything on that front, but I imagine the slow processing speed will interfere wit his functioning. This limitation cuts across all subject areas, and as the difficulty of the curriculum increases he will struggle. He might also benefit from a social problem-solving or social skills group. Ask his pediatrician or the counselor at school if they know of any resources for such help.
