Brain Seizures Related to Bright Light

Where can I get some information about the "Pokemon Syndrome" -
i.e., brain seizures in children caused by exposure to bright, flashing lights on the video screen?

Dear Deborah,

There's no doubt that optical stimulation can produce a range of symptoms, including stimulus-sensitive or reflex-attack seizures. These seem to occur in children who may already be predisposed to seizures, and the phenomenon is pretty rare.
