HI,

well basically i have a 14 year old daughter.
she has a few behaviour problems yes, and also, she chews on cloths-towels, teatowels e.t.c
i asked her a few times why she does it and she always gives a simple answe - i dont know.
what i have noticed is that she only mainly chews on cloth when she is upset..or is going through some sort of tension.

That is her way of releasing stress. Have you asked her what other things she could do instead of chewing on clothes ect. What about talking to someone about it instead of chew, what about chewing gum instead then she wouldnt be messing up her clothes.
Good Luck
