Frightened for my stepchildren

What should I do about my step children`s half brother. My husbands ex-wife has custody of the 14 yr. old girl and 13 yr. old boy and their half brother who is 11 yrs. old.The half brother tares up the other kids stuff mostly the 13 yr. olds stuff like his presents from his dad and the mom does nothing about it.Then the mom takes the clothes we by the 13 yr.old and gives them to the 11 yr. old and makes the 13 yr. old wear jeans that are 2 sizes too big.The 13 yr. old came over and had a usb code for a belt to hold his jeans up.The mom will tell both the boys to clean up dog poop and she sees the 13 yr. old clean up most of it and then gets on to the 13 yr. old because it is not all cleaned up.Every time the 11 yr. old does something wrong the 13 yr. old gets in trouble. The 11 yr. old will go as far as hitting himself and making red marks on himself to get the 13 yr. old in trouble. The 11 yr. old got mad at the 13 yr. old and went into the house and broke 5 plates. Then later that night the 11 yr. old got mad at the 13 yr. old again and  took a butcher knife after the 13 yr. old and said I just want to kill you.The mom said settle down and took the knife away from the 11 yr. old and did not discipline him for it. The mom never disciplines the 11 yr. old for any of his actions. We tried to stop the ex-wife from moving  the children to with her but the courts here in Oklahoma let her move them anyway. It hurts every time the children have to go home with their mom after their one weekend a month visit and they cry because they have to go back to that house where their mom is always yelling at them and neglecting them and making them stay home alone with the 11 yr. old while her and her boy friend go out at night.I fear that the 11 yr. old is going to hurt them some night they are alone with him.

We have filed it with child protective services in Tx. but have not heard anything yet from them.I will tell the children to talk to the school councilor about all the stuff that is going on in their home.
Thank You for your insight.

Has anyone called child protective services on this mother yet? If these children are in danger, then the need to be protected by whomever knows of this situation. This needs to be you protecting them. These children can also try to speak with counselors at their schools and the school system should be able to do something for them.
