Help

My child is 5. she was a very late developer, didnt walk until she was 2, didnt take solids until she was over a year. i was assured this was nothing to worry about.
a few months ago she had scarlet fever, she was in hospital for a week. where they discovered she had a heart murmor. Since then she seems to get every illness that is going around. she recently had chicken pox for the second time. her teeth are very poor even through she brushes them often through out the day. Is my child lacking in something? Is it her imune system that isnt working? I dont seem to get any straight answers from my doctor. I am awaiting a hospital appointment but as it is through the NHS there is a waiting list, i am very very worried about her. Can anyone make any suggestions? or have some advice?
it would be much appreciated
thanks!

Has your child ever had blood testing done? U Know, to rule out any other issues with her organs, blood counts, etc? There has to be a reason for her to be getting so sick all the time. If there has been no blood work done, maybe there should be. If you're not satisfied with your doctors now, get a second opinion, it's YOUR RIGHT!!!!

I would seek out a doctor that can see you sooner if possible.  I'm not sure what the healthcare system is like there (like if you have Nationalized Healthcare or not) but if you have any choice, I would get her in to see someone (even if it's in another office) sooner.  I'll keep you in my prayers  :)
