AND WHEN I PUT  HIM IN HIS BED HE STARTS CRYING  CRYING AND CRYING. I DON'T KNOW WHATS GOING ON. IT HAS'NT BEEN NOTHING DIFFERENT IN HIS RUTINE.  I STAY WITH HIM IN HIS ROOM UNTIL HI GET SLEEP, BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON? AND WHAT CAN I DO? AT  NAP TIME I AM ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS. Check whether teething might be a source of distress, since your child is still at the age when this can be occurring. Another thing to consider, particularly since the problem has been of brief duration, is posssible viral (or other) illness. Stick with the routine - do not alter it. A systematic routine is the best antidote to sleep problems such as this.

Is he sick, is his crying from pain or just from not wanting to go to sleep. What time are giving nap and bedtime. Try not givng him a nap. Then he will be ready to sleep at night
