As for the above question, I have a 3 1/2 month old little boy. Just like your little baby, our son used to scream at the top of his lungs like someone was killing him when I would feed him. He would be fine while we was being fed but as soon as he finished the bottle he would scream. At first I thought it was because he wansnt getting enough to fill his stomach, so I increased the fluid ounces. This still did not help, so I brought him to our family doctor who in turn switched his formula to a more soy based...no iron formula, such as Isomil from Simolac. That still didnt help much...It was as if he has extreme gas pains. As he finally got older he just seemed to outgrow it, actually it was when he turned 3 months old is when the matter seemed to die down. To this day he is as happy as can be and more happier then ever! Best of luck, I know from experience it can be frustrating to a parent to watch ones little one cry and not being able to help he/she out!! :)
Dear Mr. Cole,
Yours is strictly a medical question, and should be taken up with your daughter's health care providers. We focus in this Forum on child behavior, not so much organically-based conditions or illnesses.
