i dont know where to turn

My daughter is 10 and since 2 has had behaviour problems . Every one won't help adhd won't get diagnosed because she is semi settled at scool despite getting out her seat umpteen times a day. She can not interact with other kids cause her attitude stops their interest to play with her and home life is a nightmare she won't do a thing I ask and thrives on winding my other two children up ...

This is a methylphenidate product, not avaialble in many countries. Mehtylphenidate is a common treatment for ADHD. It is a type of psychostimulant, the most frequently used ADHD medications. Apparently you were successful in conveying your concerns. She is on a very modest dose of the medicine.

Lauren has had two conners in p3 and 5 . Because she was levelling out at school they wont diagnose her . Her real dad has adhd. I can't handle it any more it all started when she was going from cot to bed she would bang her head on back of door till it bruised ..

I should have added that it is way outside the norm for a child of ten to be getting out of her seat in school. Her teacher has to set more firm limits on this behavior and, in no uncertain terms, tell her to stop it.

Two things: (1) have her evaluated by a pediatric mental health clinician, and (2) manage the behavior at home according to the guidelines in Lynn Clark's book SOS Help for Children. The evaluation is important because you'll want to determine if there is emotional disturbance involved vs a normal-spectrum child behavior problem.
