Hi there I'm really worried about my little boy having adhd he's nearly 2 years old which I know is young to reconize symptoms of his age but his behavour is worrisome.if he can't do something straight away he gets angry and will hit, head butt anything near him.if i tell him no for anything he responseds in the same way but with me.his anger outbursts are very extreme considering he's from a calm household.he constantly climbs on the window sil or anything up high that he can climb.he constantly loves banging things of the walls.he will constantly hit his sister who's five with items or himself or if I take him to a playgroup he goes for the other children.i know toddlers can be a handfull but is out bursts of anger towards him self and the people around him it worries me please help

add is characterized by a lack of ability to focus.

Adhd,  which you mention later,  is characterized by an inability to sit still,  a child who wanders all over the place all the time,  can't sit for a reasonable amount of time in a restaurant,  gets into cabinets all the time and can't be contained in a stroller,  etc.

Excessive violence isn't really a classic symptom of a child with ADHD.

Make sure you supervise him he cant climb on sills if you are there, ask your self why he is doing this what may be happening to upset him , how does his sister behave with him is he the one who instigates trouble very often an older child starts it.Could he have learned this anger from hearing others?
