sleepovers

My 9 yr Son has never had a problem going to his Grandparents or Cousins houses for sleepovers, until now.3 weekends in a row I have had to go after him,He said he just wanted to come home and sleep in his own bed.His Grandparents are very upset that he will not stay with them anymore.Any thoughts?

well if he doesnt want to go he cant be that happy when he is there, I do know what you mean but he comes first ,I think you just tell them he wants a break to stay at home if hes at school all week I can understand him wanting to be home at the weekends  ,he wants to be with you . Maybe he doesnt get on well with the cousins either .

Thanks, for the advice.I too think it should be his choice to stay, but peer pressure even from Grandparents is a tough thing to handle.

Have his cousins been there when he has stayed over ?Maybe he doesn't want to go to them every weekend and would rather stay with you, does he have to go I think it should be his choice  not certain if its good everyone thinks he should go ...Are the cousins the same age as him do they get on well . my opinion is that if he doesnt want to go let him stay at home .
