worried kid

My son is almost 5 . they had a fire drill at school on monday and now it is thursday and he is still scard he talks about it all day at home before school and before bed. says no more fire dril. no more fire dill.l all day long even though me the mom, dad the teachers and the school princlepal has all told his there will not be another one. he has always been very worryed about things and we say the same things over and over again when he has had a scarry thing happen like going to DR geting shots ect. is this just normal fears? or ocd? or what thanks

      I agree with margypops.  The fire alarms at school can be so loud that they are painful.  Couple that with the surprise factor and you have something that the child will remember for a long time.  When he asks, just say it won't happen today and let it go.

Too much talk about it all have said their piece its time to let it drop..It may have been the noise ..I doubt he has anything wrong but check with your Doctor if you are concerned .
