14 month old WON'T eat

My 14 month old daughter hasn't ever really "eaten".  I started w/ rice cereal at 4-5 months and she gagged and had no interest.  I kept trying.  Every fruit, veggie, other cereals.... nothing.  She wouldn't even let me put the spoon to her mouth.  I tried a least 2 times  (unsuccessfully) every day until she expressed interest in picking up her own food.  At 9 months or so she started picking up small bites of soft foods, only to spit them out and loose interest.  This went on for several months.  Now, she will, on rare occasions, eat a few mac n cheese noodles, or a small bite of green beans.  Within two bites, she looses interest and fusses to get down. I have kept her on Enfamil Lipil next step formula, and suppliment w/ a whole food vitamin/mineral powder as well.

I met w/ her doctor this week.  The are concerned and referred us to a GI doctor and to occupational therapy.  I just want a advice.  Should I be worried, can I do something at home to help??

She is underweight for her age and it is good she is going to be seen by a GI MD and OT. In the meantime because she is not eating “food”, I suggest she should drink high nutrient dense Pedisure instead formula for additional calories and nutrients for her age 3-4 times a day. This will give her the recommended daily amounts of calories and protein she needs.

Hi there, my son is 15mo old, 18lbs and 29 inches. He has been 18lbs since he was 12months old. He has dropped to the 3rd percentile in weight.

He is such a picky eater, I pray for 2-3 bites each meal. I am only giving him finger foods and he drinks approx 25oz of whole milk.

How can I put some weight on him, his ribs are starting to show.
Any Suggestions.

Currently my daughter is 20lbs 6 oz.  I can't remember her height exactly, I do remember she was 75th percentile  on the growth chart for height.  This info is as of last week.

She was not a premie she was born 3 days after the due date, and birth weight was 9lbs 3oz.

What is your daughter's weight (in kg or lbs) and height so I am able to assess her nutritional state. Was your daughter a premie? Thank you.
