Home made baby fod or jar?

My 6mo baby has bee weaned for 2 months and eats well. the problem is he wont eat my homemade baby meals. my 1st son ate them every day and is now 3.5y and has a fantastic and varied apetite. i was hoping things would go the same way with my 2nd son but he literally gags when i try to feed him homemade food. ive tried smooth, lumpy, bland and tastey and im lucky to get a few mouthfuls into him. he does like homemade apples and pears aswell as mashed bananas. he loves jars of baby food, baby cereal, and fruit pots and im not worried about the quantity he consumes. he is healthy and gaining weight but im worried if i just give him jars he will become a fussy eater as a child. i know jars will do, but homemade is the best. shall i persist with the homemade food or should i give up and stick to the jars he likes?

Suggest giving him the foods he likes and if it from the jars, then that is the source for now. In about 3-4 months he will be eating regular finger foods and will then have your healthy homemade foods.
