help

Excuse me,

eating problems.

I have a problem with my baby. He is born in one December 2009. During the first two months he hasn’t any problem with food. After the firs two month he is refusing to eat normally. He drinks only he’s mother milk in the natural way from his mother. He refuses to use the feeding bottle or the spoon table. During these two last months he gained only 0.3 kg from 1.2 kg that he has to gain or win. Now he is 7 kg. He has borne 3.4 kg. We don’t now what to do now. It has supposed that in this period of time he has to eat the cereals but we still can’t do it.

Is it normally that he is not taking the milk with the bottle?
If not, what should we do to force him to get extra mild form the bottle, if it’s not the time to get the cereals with the spoon?

Even the milk from his mother he is not getting like in the begging. During these times he looks even to nervosa or agitated. He is not concentrated, usually he is not so. Or he hasn’t been since the birth. Most of the times he takes the milk form his mother only when he is sleeping. The problem for us is that in this way he it’s not having a normally way of gaining the weight, as it should be. Can you please help us? Thank you.

p.s.
The doctor says that he hasn’t any biological or physical problem.

His weight is between the 50-75th percentile for his age which is normal. He must be getting enough breast milk to have that good weight. He does not have to be on baby food just yet. You can try in another month or so. As long as he is steadily gaining weight (even if it is slowly), it indicates he is getting enough nutrients to grow.

His weight seems normal for a baby his age. And as for his not eating food, if he is getting enough breast milk he doesn't need any yet. After all he is only four months old. You may be getting upset about nothing. I only started introducing food at about five months of age (I have four children). They were all healthy and chubby.
