Burning sensation in foot, leg tremors when standing still

Hello,

I am a 17 year old male. For perhaps a few months now, after standing still for about 15-20minutes, i begin to feel a mild burning sensation in my feet. At the same time, my legs start to twitch/tremble, the tremble is quite noticeable. Also, when i bend my right knee, it seems to twinge. These syndromes don't seem to happen if i am walking or even running for close to the same amount of time. Oh yes, i'm not sure if this is related but every few days, my leg will go mildly pins-and-needly for about 20-30 seconds. It sometimes happens when im sitting down and sometimes when i'm just walking, it hits. Does anyone have any idea what this may be?

In that case, you might consider speaking with a neurologist.

I have went tto 2 GPs but they tell me the symptoms are too vague. I'm also unsure what kind of specialist to look for.

I would suggest you inform your parents about these symptoms, and then speak to your family physician.
