31 y.o. white male in good health, in a stable relationship with my wife of 8 years.
2 weeks ago I had sex on the weekend 3 times, which is more than I usually would. There was no pain or discomfort during the sex. That night, I wet the bed for the first time in 25 yrs. That was disconcerting enough, but then I found over the next couple of days that I felt like I needed to pee constantly, even though I didn't.
The feeling has ebbed and flowed, but it has not disappeared completely since it began. The only other symptom I've noticed is that occasionally I get a brief tremor or vibration in my penis - almost like a mobile phone vibrating. Not painful - just weird.
Long story short to fit under the 2000 character limit, GP found nothing, Urologist found nothing but prescribed some drugs to treat the symptoms.
Having read a lot on people with similar issues, one suggestion was that my vertbrae may be out of whack, thus placing pressure on the nerve bundle that runs to the urinary area. This strikes me as a high possibility as I'm an IT worker and spend a large amount of time sitting in front of a PC, and my posture is not great because I'm over 6 ft and often work in a chair/desk not suited to my height. Moreover, the sensation reduces significantly when I stand up which suggests to me that the pressure on the nerve bundle is reduced whilst standing. However, the urologist was dismissive of this suggestion because I currently have no back pain. But is would pain be necessary for this to be a possibility?
I am reaching my wits end with this problem and am not sure how much more I can take. I only have two weeks off before I return to work and am really worried that the problem won't be resolved, or that I'll spend my entire holidays finding a solution.
Does anyone have any advice for me? I'm desperate for help and will provide you with any further information you might require. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
