Forward head posture?

My Chriopractor said I developed this from having very severe whiplash.
I was in a mva 6 months ago and have Several Disc Herniations/Bulges C 5-6, C 6-7  L 2-3, L3-4, L4-5 ,L5-S1 w. anular tear w/ osteophtes and stenosis.
Mild sclerosis at C7-T1
My EMG result also said I have Left C-7 radiculopathy
She is concerned that I never received the proper care in the beginning( going in a circle w/ docs) and now I'm developing scar tissue. On my 6th session w/ Chriopractor. Anybody familiar w/ this condition? How long does it take to correct? I am in daily neck and back pain. Prior to the accident, I was very active and never had any issues w/ my health.

Thanks for the reply. Out of the all doctors I've seen over the last 7 months, the Chiropractor seems to understand my pain and body the most. I really feel like it is helping. She feels confident in correcting it, I'm 33 and it has been 7 mo. since the accident. I have seen the Chiropractor 10 times so far, trying to keep it 2x week, but it is tough w/ kids.

There are varying degrees of FHP. Outcomes depend on factors such as age, how long the change has been present, treatment approach, and of course to what extent the cervical curve has been altered.

In many cases, FHP can be noticeably improved. In other cases, chiropractic care and/or physical therapy are just going to be "damage control" to help with the discomfort.
