Pain after Chiropractor

I was adjusted on Wednesday by the chiropractor and today on Friday there is a lot of soreness in the area. I have been dealing with a rib that keeps slipping out of place in the middle of my back. He normally puts part of the table up underneath me and then it falls when he adjusts. This time the table fell prematurely and he adjusted me in midair and it hurt really bad. They he readjusted me again to make sure it was in place. Now I am extremely sore and tender in that spot and just wondered if that was normal or what could be going on.

Well I went back on Friday and what happened is he had pushed the rib above the one that is usually out of place out of place. So he put them both back in, but today is Saturday and I am in excrutiation pain again. So how long of a setback do you think this will be now? I was almost healed after 10 months of my rib being out and now I get to suffer with having to put one back in that wasn't out to begin with.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Discomfort can accompany spinal manipulations. I'd monitor it until Monday, and if the pain is still there, tell your chiropractor. Soreness can generally remain anywhere from 2-3 days...
