6 days after "possible" infection I had a Chlamydia test which has just come back negative, how sure is this result - the clinic want me to do another sample - Why?

chlamydia testing can be done 5-7 days after exposure, the best way to test is a swab or urine- if urine make sure it is your first urine of the day and if that is not possible try to wait an hour to 2 after your last urine to test
